Sri Lanka-Italy Trade
We record the steady increase in bilateral trade with
Italy, in spite of economic, social and financial markets upheaval in Sri Lanka and the world, since
the formation of our Council.
Close bilateral ties are maintained
with the Sri Lanka Embassy in Rome, and the Italian Embassy in Colombo.
We thank them for their support.

Visas to Italy for Sri Lankans
We regret that the Council cannot provide a Letter of Recommendation to
obtain a Business Visa to Italy, even for members. Each application has
to be individually evaluated by the Visa Officer at the Embassy at their
sole and exclusive discretion, which is according to
Schengen
guidelines. See the VFS website for
more information.
Current Members are advised that it is, of course, possible to obtain
a letter stating that you are a member of the Council. If our valued
members' bona fide staff, with a designation of General Manager or
above, are planning a business trip to Italy, please do contact the
Secretariat, we will be happy to offer assistance and advice.
